At Zamour, we create transformative experiences and handcrafted items for your home, both inspired by the sacred landscape of Siwa.

Through personalized spiritual journeys, we offer seekers the space to explore, heal, and reconnect—whether through immersive desert retreats, sacred plant medicine, or elemental experiences with water, sand, salt and ancient mud.

Curating private experiences for spiritual seekers in
Siwa Oasis

Some of the things we might get up to.

Private visits to the Oracle temple for meditations and rituals.
Guided meditations and toning in the mountain temple of Dakrour and other sacred spots.
Guided visits to other historical sites, power spots and cultural immersions.
Adventurous desert excursions away from the crowds, including dune riding, sandboarding, fossil hunting, mountain climbing and swimming in desert lakes.
Desert vision quests. Fully supported one or multiple-day quests in solitude within the dunes, to leave all the chatter behind and walk in the spirit world.
Sand baths are a powerful Siwan healing technique. A traditional sand bath is performed in the heat of summer and is a very intense practice. We offer the full therapy under the guidance of experienced locals and also more moderate sand baths and showers that awaken the senses and generate deep meditative states.
Water dancing with the various springs and lakes, including instruction in freediving, contact dance and breathwork to deepen your experience and connection with water.
Sacred touch therapy in private salt pools, inspired by Watsu and informed by the living waters here in Siwa. In sacred touch therapy you are gently held and moved through the buoyant, womb-like waters. This is a deeply relaxing, healing experience that releases energy blockages, giving you the sensation of being held by the cosmic mother herself.
Wild workouts to energise and rejuvenate the body and mind, including barefoot running through the gardens, calisthenics, somatic movement and dance, all with a focus on flexibility, alignment and release.
Overnight stays in a private desert camp where you can sleep in comfort under the magnificent night skies. This includes a traditional Siwan tea ceremony, local food and can include traditional drumming and singing around the fire.

Be Our Guest

Nestled into a sacred mountain, our private camp overlooks the vast, majestic Sahara desert. Where the silence becomes sound and the land beckons you onward - and inward.

Hospitality is considered a sacred duty amongst the Amazigh people (the indigenous North African desert tribes) and one our team takes very seriously. No request is too big or insignificant.

Our tents are fully furnished with attention given to small details to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

We have functioning toilets and hot water showers that overlook the magnificent dunes. This is outdoor showering at its best!

There are large, communal tents and spaces for ceremonies, meetings, yoga or socialising.

There is no electricity in the camp, although we do have a small, solar-charging station for devices and power packs.

At night the camp is lit by solar lights, candles and torchlight, with (wind permitting) a roaring fire at the heart.

We provide a travel WIFI box that runs from a phone signal, for messaging and posting (streaming and downloading will not be possible). However, we do invite you to disconnect from your phone as much as possible to truly make the most of your experience here.

Immerse yourself in the starlit skies by night and surrender to the Great Sand Sea by day.

We can also arrange other accommodation for you in a recommended villa, garden, camp or hotel

We are hosts & guides for those seeking to nourish their wild, whole selves in magical Siwa, Egypt. Our team of locals and expats will expertly guide and hold space for you and your group as you encounter Siwa’s powerful medicine.

We specialise in taking you off the beaten track to places you won’t normally encounter on the usual tourist trails and beyond that, to create space for you to encounter the elemental beings of this landscape in profound ways.

Together we will co-create your journey to support your inner work & outer unfolding.

About us...

Vanessa has over 25 years of experience working with the body; teaching, performing and directing theatre and dance. For most of this time, she has nurtured a keen interest in the spiritual aspect of the arts, developing therapeutic and somatic practices based on her diverse experience.

Vanessa has been on a conscious spiritual journey for 20 years, during which she has had the honour of walking with some inspiring wisdom keepers. A medicine carrier, mentor, guide and space-holder, Vanessa creates a loving, safe environment to for you to delve in deep.

Half English, half Brazilian, she has traveled the world her whole life, until finally, in Siwa, she feels she is home.

Adel Mansour is Siwan born and bred. His intimate knowledge of the Siwan story, culture and environment brings a whole other dimension to your experience here.

As well as managing all logistics for your stay and doing everything humanly possible to fulfil your every desire, Adel brings with him the stillness and quiet wisdom of the desert.

In his presence you can feel a pull, beckoning you into the flow of the moment. This is the call of the desert, to find yourself within the stillness.

With experience hosting a variety of medicine work, Adel and his carefully curated team hold each group with attention and grace, so you can feel fully protected and provided for.
